This summary is focused on the statutes and regulations deemed to be most relevant to the establishment and operation of captive hunts. This is not a complete analysis of all potentially relevant state laws and regulations. In particular, this analysis does not address agricultural or livestock laws that may be applicable to the operation of captive hunts, shooting preserves, management of wild animals in captivity, importation standards or disease issues.
