On the big screen, Benji is a true dog of valor, saving the day time after time. For the task of being a judge, Benji has enlisted the help of his "humans," Joe and Kathleen Camp. Joe, who also produced all of Benji's films, says Benji is proud to play a part in finding a heroic dog who can follow in his pawsteps. Benji has been named by Oprah as her all-time favorite movie animal! |

Ron Burns |
|
Known as "America's Favorite Animal Artist" Ron Burns is recognized for his brightly painted canine portraits that, according to the New York Daily News, "capture the quiet heroics" of dogs. As Artist in Residence for The Humane Society of the United States, Burns has made finding homeless animals their "furever" homes his number one commitment. One of Burns' most famous and touching images is that of a true canine hero: Sirius, the NYC Port Authority dog who died in the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers. Sirius is immortalized in Burns' first book, The Dogs of Ron Burns. |

Randy Pobst |
Randy Pobst |
In his more than 20 years as a professional race car driver, Randy Pobst has won a lot of races and had some close calls, so he knows a little something about courage. He’s also driven a lot of cars, but until 2007, never one named for a cat! In two World Challenge races, Pobst—a vegetarian and lifelong animal lover—drove a MAZDA6 race car decked out with The HSUS logo, graphics featuring Mooch the cat from the MUTTS cartoon strip, and a message, "Adopt A Shelter Cat."
