Federal Court action challenging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's decision to issue permits under the Endangered Species Act to the States of Michigan and Wisconsin that allow the killing of wolves for depredation control purposes. In fall 2005, the court entered final judgment in the plaintiffs' favor and set aside the challenged permits.
