The HSUS filed an amicus brief asking the Oregon Supreme Court to uphold the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission’s authority to promulgate rules prohibiting the possession, sale, and hunting of exotic species in order to protect native wildlife. The Court ruled in favor of the State.
