State court action challenging constitutionality of the New Mexico cockfighting ban, SB10. The HSUS filed an amicus brief supporting defendant, and asking the court to uphold the New Mexico law. On December 20, 2007, the Court issued a ruling upholding the state's cockfighting ban.
