The Humane Society of the United States moved for leave to file an amicus curiae brief in support of organic milk consumers, who have alleged that Aurora and several retailers falsely labeled their milk as “organic” even though it was not produced in compliance with federal organic production standards. The plaintiffs alleged that Aurora’s cows were not provided with the access to pasture required under federal law, among other alleged violations.
