Many workplaces coordinate charitable giving campaigns for their employees. These campaigns allow employees to donate to charities of their choice through one-time gifts and regular payroll deductions. Many of these campaigns take place in the fall, and they are a great way to contribute to The Humane Society of the United States.
Military and federal employees can give through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
- The HSUS's CFC number is 11894.
Your office may also collect donations through an organization called America's Charities or through the United Way. Look for The HSUS by name through these organizations. Or simply designate The Humane Society of the United States in the space on the form provided by your company. Many companies allow you to pledge online, too.
If your workplace doesn't have an annual giving program in place, America's Charities can help you set one up. Simply contact Patricia Kauffman, HSUS workplace giving manager, at 1-800-808-7858 or pkauffman@hsus.org. She and the America's Charities team will assist you.
