"Miracle" By Robin Caspari Art Print
Every winning bidder will receive a beautiful signed art print of artist Robin Caspari's "Miracle". Known as the painter of luminescence, Caspari donated the prints to The Humane Society of the United States after we rescued thirty horses that were standing inside the Cavel International slaughter plant when it closed down.
These horses were dubbed "The Miracle Horses" because they are the only horses known to have seen the inside of a horse slaughter plant and walked out alive. The horses in the painting bear an uncanny resemblance to two of those horses, Mari Mariah and Josie Sahara, a mother daughter pair who now live at The HSUS's Black Beauty Ranch. It was because of the generosity of Mari Hulman George that the HSUS was able to rescue these horses.
