Animals and humans are profoundly impacted by these unexpected and many times unpredictable events. However, with advance preparation, the better everyone is able to effectively respond to the crisis. This is core to The HSUS Disaster Services Department’s development, training and advocacy.
Disaster response is serious business, and the Disaster Services Department of The HSUS stands ready to help people and their animals in times of need. The lives of both are at stake.
