Charlotte Ronson Partners with HSUS for Fur-Free Collection |
 | February 7, 2008
|
With sponsorship from The HSUS, fur-free designer Charlotte Ronson debuted her Fall 2008 collection at the Altman Building Monday in New York.
Ronson credited attendance at an HSUS Cool vs. Cruel party earlier in the year for her decision to come out against fur, and the fur-free message was on full display at her show.
The one faux fur garment shown made clear its provenance with a "no-fur" button on the lapel.
The model wore a bracelet made of the same buttons pinned together.
Ronson's show attracted socialites like fellow designer Nicky Hilton and enlisted the help of her equally famous family members: Samantha DJ'd, Annabelle modeled, and mother Ann and brother Mark attended as well.
See for yourself the graphic reality of fur production and how other designers and retailers have said no to fur. |
