Investigations

The Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International investigate and document the side of the fur trade that the industry doesn't want the public to know about. Our results, and those of other groups who do similar work, expose a harsh, pitiless industry that subjects more than 50 million animals a year to a vast array of mistreatment and, ultimately, death.

It can be labeled karakul, broadtail, astrakhan or Persian lamb, but it all means early death for infant lambs or lamb fetuses.
