The White Pig serves delicious, humane food to guests.
Nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia lies The White Pig—a serene bed and breakfast as renowned for its amazing vegetarian fare as it is for its hospitality and tranquility.

Dina and Hal Brigish converted the lovely 170-acre farm to a bed and breakfast in 2001.

The property's farmhouse boasts charming and comfortable guest rooms, a hot tub, a welcoming living room and a spacious kitchen and dining area.

Award-Winning Vegetarian Fare

The White Pig also provides guests with a first-class dining experience.

Dina, a professional chef, treats visitors to hearty breakfasts, afternoon snacks and delicious Saturday dinners—all completely vegetarian.

The fare has won numerous awards and consistently impresses both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

Whether pancakes, frittatas, waffles, meat-free sausage or tofu scramble is on the menu, Dina's culinary skills confirm that humane breakfast food is both satisfying and delicious.

Animal-Friendly Getaway

It's not just the guests who are pampered at The White Pig. Proceeds from the bed and breakfast support an animal sanctuary.

Twelve pot-bellied pigs were lucky enough to be rescued by Dina and Hal, and they enjoy a spacious five-acre pasture, barns, and a creek where they can splash around.

The sanctuary is also home to rescued pony Mr. Bingley and seven rescued dogs and cats.

An abundance of wildlife—songbirds, deer, turkeys, raccoons, foxes and other animals—also thrives at the sanctuary.

Nature-lovers can enjoy seeing all these creatures along the property's walking trails, meadows and forests.

The White Pig is a truly animal-friendly getaway—even donating ten percent of its profits to animal protection organizations.
