| Around the world, foie gras production is being rejected as simply too abusive for any humane person to support. More than a dozen countries prohibit the production of foie gras due to animal welfare concerns—including Israel, formerly the world’s fourth-largest foie gras producer, the United Kingdom, Poland, Denmark, and Germany. |
