| Commercial fishers commonly use nets several miles long to trap tens of thousands of animals in a single "pull." These nets are not discriminating: The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that one in four animals caught in fishing gear dies as "bycatch"—unwanted or unintentional catch. |
