The Humane Society of the United States' brochure, Student Choice in Biology Education: A Policy Guide, provides guidance on creating a student choice policy that will work for your school.
The HSUS produced this brochure for students who are interested in implementing a policy in their school, county, or state. The brochure includes reasons for creating a student choice policy, what the policy can include, and a sample student choice policy. Student choice policies provide all students with the chance to enjoy science and express their enthusiasm for biology, whatever their ethical beliefs.
