Federal Bill Introduced to End Invasive Research on Chimps
 The Great Ape Protection Act (H.R. 5852) was introduced in Congress on April 17, 2008. The bill aims to end invasive research and testing on an estimated 1,200 chimpanzees remaining in U.S. laboratories.
