The Wildlife Care Center helps animals in South Florida's tri-county region (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade). Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release harmed or displaced native wildlife; treat and place domestic, exotic and farm animals in need; and teach the public about living alongside our wild neighbors.
Our state-of-the-art wildlife nursery admits up to 120 orphaned, abandoned or displaced baby animals per day during baby season, and we receive about 200 phone calls everyday reporting injured wildlife and requesting related information.
Our doors are open every day of the year, admitting about 14,000 animals during that time.
The Wildlife Care Center is one of five animal care centers under the auspices of The HSUS, making us one of the largest and most diverse providers of hands-on care for animals in the country.
