In order to help animals in need, you have to be in the know. But you also have to be known.
The NRRO has a model rapid notification system that allows our office to phone, fax, email or mail notices about legislative calls to action, disaster response, or how to help with major hoarder cases.
Major government agencies and nonprofit animal protection groups are included in the database, and we continue to include breed- or species-specific animal rescue groups, veterinarians and others who can help when the need arises.
We also want to include anyone else who wants to be in the database. So if you have a special interest in passing pro-animal legislation, or in helping out with cases such as Camp Collie, or have a special skill (computer whiz, dog groomer, pilot), or own equipment we could use (boat, RV, or horse trailer), we'd love to know.
To let us know of your willingness to help animals in our region when the need arises, please download and fill out the PDF form below, and send it to our office.
