The Central Regional Office is on the frontlines of animal protection issues in 15 states, including Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin.

We work throughout the region to support animal welfare legislation, fight animal cruelty in all forms, respond to animals in danger from man-made and natural disasters, and engage like-minded citizens to promote the protection of animals.

Largest Dog Fighting Bust in U.S. History

Indiana Legislator Gives Second Chance to Puppy Mill Dog August 4, 2009 Animal lovers, including Indiana Rep. Linda Lawson, descended on a Mauckland, Ind., puppy mill near the Kentucky border in early June to rescue 240 dogs from lives of confinement.
