Whether you're looking to stop a factory farm from moving into
town or seeking information on an animal-protection bill
pending before the state legislature, your regional office is
here to help. Regional offices extend The HSUS's national
programs into the community, and serve the needs of local
constituents. When you want to contact The HSUS, the best place
to start is your regional office.
These offices play an indispensable role in improving the
quality of local animal-care and control programs; they do so
through shelter visits and by providing resources to local
humane organizations and animal shelters. The regional offices
host workshops and presentations to further educate
communities, law-enforcement agencies, veterinarians, and
animal-care and control professionals.
Aside from assisting local humane organizations, the
regional offices also team up with law enforcement officials,
prosecutors, government and animal-control professionals to
prevent animal cruelty through The HSUS's Illegal Animal
Fighting Task Force. What's more, the offices perform a vital
role in wildlife protection.
