A Party for Puppies
Fashion designer Nick Friedberg is, with a portion of the proceeds from his NSF clothing line, helping to raise awareness about the cruelty of puppy mills. Actress and perennial Genesis Awards favorite Wendie Malick proved yet again what a great friend she is to the animals, this time by lending her voice and onscreen presence and opening her home to The HSUS to film a series of ads which appeal directly to viewers. These ads, which feature animals in need interspersed with footage of Wendie and her dog, are running on Animal Planet, Discovery, Comedy Central, and VH1, among others.

For the Love of Dogs

We sat down with "My Boys'" (TBS) Reid Scott, and his adorable pooches Bella and Dublin, to chat about the dogs in his life and shoot some PSA’s for HSUS’s End Dogfighting program.
Successfully underway in Chicago, and coming soon to Atlanta, End Dogfighting educates youth to regard their pit bulls as beloved companions, not fighters. The program also helps steer these youths away from the criminal underworld associated with the barbaric blood sport of dogfighting.
Reid wanted to bring attention to this amazing program and help us launch End Dogfighting in Los Angeles, a known hotbed of dogfighting activity.
