LEGAL CLERKSHIPS, Animal Protection Litigation
Seeking several conscientious law students for unpaid Spring 2008 and Fall 2008 legal clerkships within Animal Protection Litigation Section in our Washington, D.C. office. Law clerks will work closely with attorneys and be integrally involved in the process of researching, preparing and prosecuting animal protection lawsuits in state and federal courts. The Humane Society International is the international arm of the Humane Society of the United States. Our global work addresses an array of issues including humane animal control, farm animal and companion animal welfare. HSI works with national and jurisdictional governments, humane organizations, and individual animal protectionists to find practical, culturally sensitive, and long-term solutions to common animal problems. HSI-Programs is seeking interns to assist us with our program work. Seeking a Call Handling and Job Booking individual who will serve as principal call-taker and point of contact for the Humane Wildlife Solutions program.
