In her new book, "The Cat Bible," Tracie Hotchner covers all things feline, from adoption to yowling. (Well, there are some listings under "Z" too, but we liked "yowling" better.) Her goal is to give the more than 90 million cat-loving households the resources they need to keep their feline family members happy, healthy, and home—for a lifetime.
Hotchner says she wanted her book to include "practical wisdom, as well as the newest studies about cat behavior and the most up-to-date
medical information." But she doesn't shy away from sometimes-controversial topics such as indoor vs. outdoor living and issues surrounding feral cats. The result is a book that is a great introduction for new cat caretakers, and has plenty of information for even the most experienced cat person.
Hotchner also hosts of "Cat Chat(TM)," which airs on Sirius Satellite radio, and is the best selling author of "The Dog Bible."
"The Cat Bible" is published by Gotham Books, an imprint of Penguin Group, and is available on Hotchner's website.
